PRAB, INC. ADDS TO CHIP SYSTEMS AND CONVEYOR ENGINEERING TEAM TO MEET GROWING INDUSTRY DEMAND

PRAB, Inc. Kalamazoo, MI – November 13, 2012: Carl Baker, Vice President of Engineering at PRAB, Inc, announced several important changes in the PRAB Engineering Department. “The engineering team at PRAB is growing to meet the demands of the industrial manufacturing sector,” states Baker. PRAB included in the announcement, the new hire of Mike Hook, as an application engineer and the promotion of Bob Anspaugh to Project Engineer.

Mr. Hook brings 15 years of experience in industrial equipment and systems design to PRAB. Mike’s primary responsibility is to evaluate data provided by customers on their scrap metal handling needs, and offer equipment designs and options that will optimize the scrap handling and fluid recovery process in their facility.

Bob Anspaugh has worked in the PRAB Engineering Department for five years. Bob’s position helps join sales and engineering to offer customers what they need, when they need it. “It is all about speed and accuracy” notes Baker. “We have carefully linked our sales and engineering teams so they work together very early in the RFQ and budget proposal stages. This means faster proposal turn-around time for the customer and a more comprehensive offering for them to evaluate for their capital equipment purchase” notes Baker. Mr. Anspaugh will leave a fully staffed application engineering department to join the PRAB Project Engineering Department. “This is a natural transition for me with my engineering background”, states Anspaugh. “I have listened to customer needs for conveyors and chip processing systems and can bring this experience and knowledge into the equipment design.” In addition to his 5 years of experience at PRAB, Mr. Anspaugh has an extensive equipment engineering background in the automotive industry.

“We welcome Mike Hook to the PRAB team and congratulate Bob Anspaugh on his promotion,”said Mike Hill, VP of PRAB Sales & Marketing. “Our engineering team is growing to better serve our customers now and over the next decade,” states Hill, who went on to explain how the PRAB customer-driven value stream provides optimum, engineered equipment with greater than expected results. “PRAB is committed to our customers by offering a 100% operational guarantee on all of our equipment. Mike and Bob are an integral part of how we make that commitment; ensuring customers receive the right PRAB equipment and features to maximize production.”

PRAB engineers and manufactures equipment for chip handling, fluid filtration, fluid recycling, and conveyor systems for a wide range of metal processing industries.
