Module 1 – Scrap Metal Separation and Process
Feed Hopper Assembly and Screw Conveyor;
- Hydraulic cart dumper allows safe and easy transfer of material
- Separates large pieces from smaller scrap
- Allows operators easily side door access for capturing larger pieces for rework or recycle
- Automatically moves smaller scrap into a fluid separator
Module 2 – Fluid Separation
Diagonal Shaft Chip Wringer Assembly;
- 900 G is pulled when the Wringer is in full motion
- Effectively separates coolant from chips
- Produces 98% dry chips
Coolant Collection and Recovery;
- A sealed pan under the Wringer captures fluid from the Wringer as it spins
- Coolant is pumped to a central collection point for reclaim and recycle
- 300 to 600 Gallons of coolant per day will be collected and recycled – saving thousands annually
Module 3 – Weighed Dry Scrap Transfer
Weight Belt Assembly;
- Material is weighed and metered to the load-out conveyor
- Prevents over filling of outdoor containers
Module 4 – Load-Out System
Drag Conveyor;
- Effectively fills containers or trailers
- Segmented sections provide for additional metering of the trailer fill
