PRAB EXPANDS MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS IN KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN
Kalamazoo, Mich., AUGUST 22, 2016 – PRAB Inc., a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of equipment and systems for processing metal scrap and spent fluids and treating oily wastewater for recycle and reuse, grows its manufacturing campus in Kalamazoo, MI. PRAB, Inc. a KMC Global Company, purchased existing manufacturing space and warehouse buildings across the street from the company’s current location. The additional space adds manufacturing capacity to 159,000 sq ft. The purchase of the new building also allows the sales and engineering teams from all company divisions to operate under a single roof. PRAB Fluid Filtration and Wastewater Treatment divisions will combine in building 2 with the team from Chip Systems, and Conveyors for Die Cast and Stamping. The original plant location, known as Building 1, will house some final assembly, and shipping along with KMC Global corporate functions. The third campus building is currently being renovated to house the expansion of the company’s controls division. Randy McBroom, PRAB Vice President- Manufacturing states, “Expanding our manufacturing and office space capacity solidifies our commitment to U.S. jobs in the state of Michigan and helps us improve work flow and bring some outsourced functions in house. This expansion allows us to meet the needs of our customers today and provides room for growth”.

Kalamazoo, Mich., July 20, 2014 - Featured in Modern Machine Shop Magazine. Mathews, Inc is a manufacturer of Bows and Archery Equipment. The company has been in business since 1992 starting with 26 people, growing to now over 400 full-time employees. Another recent expansion to a new 56,000 sq ft facility provided the added capacity necessary to meet customer demand for their products. The company machines Aluminum to build their Bows and accessories. The expansion meant increased capacity for machining centers but also additional metal scrap. Scott Jenkins, Machine Shop Manager Equipment & Design at Mathews worked with Randy Brown, Executive Account Manager for United Milwaukee Scrap, LLC to help develop a cost-effective solution to the challenge of processing the increased volume of Aluminum chips.

PRAB, INC. ACQUIRES PUCKMASTER BRIQUETTERS
Kalamazoo, Mich., August 11, 2014 - PRAB, Inc., a global manufacturer of industrial material handling equipment with more than 60 years of engineering equipment and systems design, has completed a purchase agreement for ownership of all assets of the Puckmaster company. Since 1986, Puckmaster has manufactured and supported briquetting machines for metal compression and coolant collection. The equipment has also been sold in biomass industries for briquetting woody feedstock. "We are proud to have the PRAB name associated with the Puckmaster brand", explains PRAB President and CEO, Ned Thompson.
