PRAB WILL FEATURE COMPLETE STAMPING AND CHIP PROCESSING SYSTEMS AT FABTECH MEXICO 2015

Kalamazoo, Mich. – PRAB, Inc., a global leader in complete integrated chip and fluid processing and stamping scrap handling systems will feature its full line of integrated and modular capabilities at FABTECH, May 5-7, 2015 in Monterrey, Mexico. PRAB will have equipment demonstrations and technical staff in booth 2105 in the Metalform and Machining section of the show. The booth is sponsored by Promotores Technicos, the technical representative for PRAB equipment in Mexico. The booth will feature several of Promotores’ key partners, offering visitors a wide range of equipment to support efficient plant operations in a single booth.

PRAB offers a wide range of in-floor and above ground conveying systems for the efficient handling of stamping scrap off presses, lasers, and die-cast machines. PRAB engineers have decades of design experience offering tailored conveyors to meet specific application needs. The conveying technology PRAB recommends to customers is determined by application and ranges from; steel belt conveyors, to horizontal motion such as Oscillating and Quick Return conveyors, to drag conveyors, and shuttle style conveyors for load-out systems.

In the Promortores booth 2105, PRAB will also feature complete chip and fluid processing systems. Typical systems include; crushers, in-feed hoppers and conveyors, wringers/centrifuge, briquetters, and coolant filtration and recycling systems. The PRAB chip processing systems help metalworking companies and OEMs reduce waste haul-away costs, keep shop floors clean and safe, and provide an automated method for the processing of metal and fluid waste from machining operations.

“We are proud to be a part of FABTECH in Mexico and to support the team of Promortores Technicos. We recognize the importance of Mexico to the industrial manufacturing base of North America and we look forward to connecting with operators, engineers, and management to discuss how we can support their operations. Our equipment helps maximize uptime, increase scrap value, and cut costs through recycle and reuse of metalworking fluids. Our conveyors and systems automate the management and processing of scrap so the focus can be on maintaining quality production,” states Mike Hill, PRAB Vice President - Sales and Marketing.
