PRAB, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH VEOLIA WATER, WILL FEATURE THE LASTEST IN WASTEWATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY AT THE 97th SURFACE FINISHING SHOW ON JUNE 8-10, 2015 IN ROSEMONT, ILL.

Kalamazoo, Mich. — PRAB, Inc., a manufacturer of fluid filtration and wastewater equipment for the last 70 years will feature its full spectrum of industrial wastewater treatment equipment at the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF)’s 97th Surface Finishing (SUR/FIN), Manufacturing and Technology Trade Show & Conference at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, June 8-10, 2015 in Rosemont, Ill.

SUR/FIN will bring together engineers, academics and business leaders to focus on finding sustainable options for, “The Future of Surface Technology.” As attendees learn new methods and processes for surface treatment, the challenge of effectively processing wastewater for recycle and reuse given the complexities of surface treatment applications are critical to learn how to overcome.

Recycling process water from surface treatment continues to be a critical operating factor of the industry. Companies seeking finite, solutions to meet stringent municipal and EPA regulations while combatting rising wastewater haul-away and disposal costs will have the ability to see equipment options to achieve goals in booth 1026. “Wastewater should no longer be considered a bi-product of production, but rather a component of the process. Effectively processing surface treatment wastewater means limiting business risk, cutting disposal costs, and possibly capturing materials for reuse or resale.” states Tim Hanna, Managing Director of PRAB Wastewater Treatment Division.

PRAB manufactures a broad spectrum of industrial wastewater treatment equipment and systems ranging from particle filtration, to membrane separation (micro-, nano-, and ultra-filtration, and reverse osmosis). “Our full spectrum of wastewater treatment options can help surface treatment companies achieve acceptable discharge levels from 100 micron down to .0001 micron and including zero liquid discharge,” states Andrew Flowers, PRAB’s Wastewater Treatment Business Development Manager. PRAB has partnered with Veolia Water Technologies of Italy for the EVALED™ line of evaporation and distillation wastewater treatment equipment.

PRAB will help determine which equipment is best suited for each application, starting with a water analysis and goals assessment. The result will be wastewater reduction plan designed to reduce disposal costs and help support environmental and municipal regulations compliance. The PRAB wastewater treatment equipment will be featured in booth 1026 of STC Dip-Spin, a sister company of PRAB under the KMC Global Group of Companies. Visit booth 1026 to discuss how your facility can benefit from a PRAB Wastewater Treatment system with one of the engineers on staff at the show.
